I’m having a hard time believing that this is winter because the weather here in Michigan has been enjoyable with above average temperatures and below normal snow fall. In other words, I am loving it! It makes it so much easier to get through the dreary days of winter and has given me a burst of energy. So, I spent some time giving my blog and logo a makeover, which was sorely overdue.
I’m also feeling a lot better because we gave up most carbs and all sugar the first of November, which has given me the opportunity to shed about 25lbs. Probably wasn’t the smartest thing to try to attempt while getting through the holidays but we survived it and my hubby has lost about 30 lbs as well.
I have some new items to share with you. The first of the month, we release a new buffet at GingerScraps and this month marks the 1 year anniversary of those buffets so we decided to go back and revisit some of the themes we’ve already covered and add some new products. And we’re also celebrating the anniversary by marking down every buffet product to $1.00 both new and old releases included in this sale for 5 days.
I, of course, couldn’t resist going back to our Pet Shop theme and revisiting the dogs and creating a new set of cat products.
If you love challenges, I’m hosting the Scraplift challenge this month at GingerScraps and I choose an adorable layout from my gallery created by brenian4ever titled BD-Sweetboy using the kit My Forever Love.
Here’s my take on the layout using items from the GingerScraps Pet Shop – My Dog. This is our Doxie Baxter. He’s a big ham!
So how about a few freebies? I have a couple of pieces of wordart to share with you using Pet Shop elements and one of my creative team members, Amy created this cluster frame using my newest collection, My Forever Love.
I also wanted to mention for all of you Pinterest fans out there, I have now added a Pin It button to my blog posts, which you will find below. You can also follow me by clicking on the Pinterest button in the sidebar. And if you need an invitation, don’t hesitate to use the Contact button in my header and provide me with your email address and I’ll send you an invite. I find so much inspiration on Pinterest and if you haven’t experienced it, you should check it out. You won’t be disappointed!
Until next time, have a great week everyone!
