iNSD Weekend Fun

Yikes!  It’s been a long time since I posted to my blog.  I have to admit that I spend more time on my Facebook Fan page then I do here but I’ll try to make it up to you and be more consistent with my posting from this point forward.

It's finally here, the weekend we all wait for and at GingerScraps, we have a lot of fun activities going on all weekend.

Happy iDSD + Freebies

Happy iDSD!  I hope that you are enjoying the day and finding the time to be creative this weekend.  I’ve been sick for the past two weeks, which has been a drag so I don’t have any new products for this weekend but I do have some news and a few freebies to share with you.

First off, I want to say to those that are suffering from Hurricane Sandy, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you fight to recover from this most devastating event.  It has been so difficult to watch the images on the news so I can only imagine what you must be going through.

New Kit, New Adventures & Freebie

Wow, the change in the seasons seems to be happening so fast this year.  Here in my neck of the woods, we’ve already had our furnace on a bit and I finally had to put away the flip flops.  Boo!  I did it out of protest because usually I hold out longer than this but it’s just been too chilly in the morning on the way to the “Y” for swim class. 

I have a new collection in the store today.  Apple Pickin’ Cuties was inspired by memories spent at the local orchard with families and friends.  Nothing better than the smell of fresh apples and apple cider on a cool, crisp autumn day.

I also have a new adventure to share with you.  Although I love designing digital scrapbooking kits, I also like to dabble in other creative areas as well.  And since I have a mild obsession with fonts, I found another way to play with them that has me a bit giddy!  I’ve been playing around with a vinyl cutter and coming up with some fun ways to personalize items for the home.

I have a whole new line of products in my Etsy store dedicated to vinyl lettering.  Starting with some fun jack-o-lantern faces. These are a great solution to decorating your pumpkins without all the mess of markers or paints.  And they can also be used as a carving pattern as you get closer to Halloween.
