I'm Back! and a Spooky WA

Hello everyone! I'm back and I have good news to report. My husband is finally feeling better and there are some exciting indications that his kidney's are starting to return to normal. What a blessing it is to finally see some sparks of my sweetheart shining through all the misery he's been feeling. He's been home from the hospital for almost 2 1/2 weeks and already things are starting to return to normal, which means I've had time to work on some new designs. Woo-Hoo! I've really missed being active in the store and here on my own blog so I'm anxious to jump back in again.

I have a new Halloween kit ready for release on Friday along with a fun new wordart pack and alpha. Here's a sneak peak of the full kit.So let's have some fun and celebrate! Leave a comment on this post with a fun or spooky Halloween memory and I'll pick one from random and you'll receive a coupon code to purchase the kit for free. Speaking of "spooky," I also have a little freebie for you today. I hope you like it! Please remember to leave a little love if you download. Digifree

  2. Thanks so much for the freebie. I LOVE Halloween, so all my memories are good. But last year was one of the best. My husband doesn't like to dress up and so after 7 years being married, I had given up and was just going to take the kids around dressed as a boring mom. My husband came home from work and surprised me with two matching robot costumes that he had whipped up from boxes, spray paint and dryer vents. It was so awesome. A little hard to walk, but it was fun.

  4. Thanks for the cute wordart! :-)

As for my memories, hmmm, all fairly good. My favorite thing is how ADORABLE my little boy looks in his costumes! lol The other main memory was the one time I went with friends to the "Haunted Forest". At one point we were being chased by a chainsaw massacre! lol Well my brain went faster than my legs and I ended up on the ground with the chainsaw man standing over me ready to cut me to shreds! ROFL I don't even remember know how I got out of there! lol That's the last time I ever went to a haunted house place. It was not pretty!! lol

  5. I am soooo glad your hubby is getting better. I know some of the things you have been through first hand. My DD suffered Acute Renal failure, which ended up affecting her heart, liver and brain. It took YEARS for her to progress to 'normal' now the only thing we still deal with is her immune system isn't all that great but hey! It's soooo worth it to see her smile every morning! You take care of yourself and your family things will get better and better!!!!

  7. My favorite memories of Halloween go back to when I was little and we would go out Trick or Treating any night we wanted to for about a week before Halloween. And we had a favorite street where many of the more wealthy folks in town lived, and they would give out full sized Hershey bars! It was heaven to us! :0)

  8. My most exciting and memorable Halloween was October 31, 1967 when my third baby was born. He had been due two weeks before, but was taking his time coming into the world. Since my first son was born in October, and my daughter in September, I was hoping he would be a November baby. But it wasn't meant to be. He was born about 11PM on October 31. My special little Halloween treat!

  9. Thanks so much! Darling wordart. My memorable Halloween was a not so good memory of getting a phone call threatening my husband. Turned out it was completely random and the police caught the guy, but it was scary because my husband happened to be out of town at the time and I couldn't reach him. How's that for Halloween Scary!

  10. This is perfect - my little grandson will be a spider and he loves to put on his costume now and scare Nana because he is so "spooky" - wonderful wordart to go with his photos.
    Thanks
    Gail

  11. Adorable Wordart Kathy! Linked to your blog [www.lanieloodesigns.ning.com]

I'm glad to hear your husband is feeling better. My most memorable (and spooky) Halloween memory is from 2006. A week before Halloween, my husband was walking towards his car door and was hit by a passing car. Thankfully he survived with all limbs intact. My wonderful sister drove all the way from Florida to Va to take my kids out trick or treating and to misc. Halloween parties so my kids wouldn't miss Halloween since I was taking care of my husband.

  13. Thank you so much for this cute WA! Love it!

I'm so glad that your husband is feeling better and that things are getting back to normal for you!

My favorite Halloween memory is last year when my son was 1 and was a plump pumpkin. My 3 year old daughter kept walking around introducing him as "my little pumpkin". She was as plump as he was introducing her little brother!
