Just a reminder that there is still time to add your special Mother's Day memories to our little blog contest so make sure you get them posted by Sunday evening when I'll pick a winner. Come on ladies, don't be shy, we're all friends here.
Now on to the show and tell portion of this posting. Although this has been added to the guestbook for everyone to enjoy, I wanted to put a spotlight on it and say thank you to Xashee for sharing it with us. Xashee is a regular follower to my blog and apparently I inspired her with my butterfly layout last week because she created this wonderful layout using Kim B's "Spring Blossom" kit along with a few of Kim's CU products and my WordArt freebie. She did a nice job of personalizing the WA by adding colors to match Kim's kit. Now see how easy it is to take something plain like this freebie and turn it into something wonderful. Thank you , Xashee for sharing it with us. I love it when you guys show me how creative you can be.
I'll be back tomorrow with a new freebie and I'll give you a sneak peak at a store collaboration kit that I am working on for DigiScrapShop that will be available for Mother's Day. It's going to be sweet!

Something Special to Share
If you are here looking for the Spring Fever Blog Train, it's down one post and it's full of wonderful Spring colors, papers, cute elements, and an alpha to boot. It might be a small train but each designer was generous with their time and contributions so be sure to leave thems some love if you snag their freebie.

Lindsay indicated that she used the kit, "Fly Me To The Moon" by Spinky Dink Scraps, which just happens to be one of my fellow designers at Scrapable. I highlighted this kit a couple of weeks ago as it was part of our $1 Wednesday's. It's such a sweet kit that can be used for both girls and boys. Lindsay also indicated in her email that she's new to digital scrapbooking and that she already addicted. If I had a dime for everytime, I heard that phrases, I'd be living in "paradise" instead of designing in it. It's happened to us all, Lindsay but don't worry, it's a painless addiction. TTFN and have a great day, everybody.

See What You Can Do With WordArt!
Good evening, my blog friends. Your response to last night's freebie has been wonderful so to everyone that left a little comment here or at 4shared, or emailed me directly, I thank you for taking the time to comment - it really makes my day. :-) I also wanted to take a minute tonight to share with you one of the thank you notes that I received. Marlie left a comment here on my blog that included the link to her gallery at DigiShopTalk. She wanted to share with me what she did with last night's freebie and because I thought it was really GORGEOUS, I asked her if I could post it on my blog and she agreed. Thank you, Marlie - you did a great job on this layout and I love the way you incorporated the WordArt into your design. I'm also including the credits as provided my Marlie in her gallery.
