Digital Scrapbooking Giveaway and Kit Winners

I hope everyone has had a great Christmas and has enjoyed their time with family and friends. This is will be a short post to pass along the information on the kit giveaway at Digital Scrapbooking Giveaway blog and to announce the winners of my blog post from Christmas. Yeah!

First off, you have an opportunity to start entering your name today for the Merry and Bright giveaway at
Digital Scrapbooking Giveaway blog. Simply follow this link over to their blog and read the instructions contained in the blog post. Easy!

Now on to our winners. I assigned each one of you a number in order of your posting and then I ran a list generator to put the numbers into a random order and selected the number 1 and number 2 spots as our winners. I took out Rose's comment because she's on my CT and already owns both of these kits and I took out one comment that was a continuation of the original so this person only received 1 entry. Whew, sometimes it gets complicated. Anyway, the winners are Holly and Becky Roy. Congratulations! In order to claim your free kit, I need you to contact me so that I can send you a store coupon for a kit of your choice ($5.00 value). You can either use the Contact Me button under my header above or email me at kl.winters@yahoo.com.

Good luck with your entry at Digital Scrapbooking Giveaway blog!

Merry Xmas To My Followers

I can hardly believe that Christmas is almost here and the year is about to come to an end. This year has been filled with many new experiences and some serious challenges but somehow, I managed to get through it all. At times, I didn't think I would, then something cool would happen, I would receive a nice email from someone or a comment here on my blog thanking me for my generosity, which really lifted my spirits. So I thank all those that took the time to reach out to me, I can't even tell you how much it has meant to me as I have struggled to deal with the stress of the last part of this year. Despite everything, I remain positive and am looking forward to spending time with my family and friends this holiday season. I have much to be thankful for and one of the things I'm most thankful for is my followers so this post is just for you.

I posted a message about a RAK I have at Scrapable for two opportunities to win one of my new Christmas kits but since that posting was associated with Scrapable, I want to do something special for my followers so I'm creating another RAK here on my blog. So here are the details. Most of you will receive this blog post through your Feedburner link in your mailbox. After you have read the email, simply visit my blog and post a comment to this message. It can be anything you want. Like a Christmas greeting to everyone, a funny Christmas story, a thank you, whatever you want to say or share. I will come back on Sunday, December 27th and choose two people at random to receive a store coupon for a kit of your choice ($5.00 value). I will also have some information to pass along about the Merry and Bright giveaway at Digital Scrapbooking Giveaway Blog.

Merry Christmas everyone! I wish you much love and happiness this holiday season.

RAK and a Freebie

Whew! My hubby and I made the mistake of running out at around lunch time yesterday to run some errands and use a gift card we had for the Olive Garden and boy was that a mistake. I don't know what I was thinking but the stores where packed and the traffic was awful but I have to say that our lunch at the Olive Garden made up for all. Yummy Lasagna, Breadsticks and Salad will put anyone in a great mood. So since I'm in a great mood I have a couple of things to pass along to you.

First, one of my lovely and talented CT members, Jackie had fun playing around with the Merry & Bright kit yesterday and she made some really adorable gift tags. Here are some pictures of this easy little project. You simply print them out onto a piece of paper, I would suggest some cardstock, cut them out, put a hole punch in the corner and add a festive string or pretty ribbon to hang from your package. Of course, you can always tape them to a present but festive string adds a little glitz. Don't you think!

See what I mean, how cute are these!Jackie is offering them on her blog as a freebie so if you would like to put together this fun little project, stop by and say Hi and leave her a little love. Jackie's blog is here.

Okay, now I have something else for you also but it requires a little participation on your part. I have created a RAK in the forum at Scrapable. You can find it here. If you stop by and show us a picture or a layout containing your Christmas Tree, I will pick two random people to receive either the Old-Fashioned Holiday kit or Merry and Bright (your choice). Because I want to give everyone a chance to play, I will wait until Christmas Eve to announce the winners. Sound like fun? I'm off to create my layout now to show you my Christmas Tree.
