$1 Wed, Contest, Fab 50's and a Freebie!!

How is everyone? I don't know about the weather where you live but here in Michigan, it's been down right weird. We've had a cool summer so far with temperatures during the month of July averaging only 66.4 degrees. That's crazy but it's been so nice not to have to run the A/C everyday non-stop. So I have several things to share with you. Today is Wednesday and that means it's $1 Wednesday's at Scrapable. I've decided to go all out and have a huge sale so for today only all my wordart packs are just $1. This is a great time to stock up and I've marked my full kits down by 25%.
If you remember back a couple of weeks ago, I offered you a freebie with a challenge to create a layout with someone or something "mugging for the camera." Well, so far, I have only received 2 layouts. Don't you wanna play along? It's fun and I'd really love to give away some store coupons so get busy and start snapping some photos and get creative with your layouts. This one is from email buddy, Judy. She used the Summer's End kit to create this layout of her grandson, Jack.

Fab 50's Wk4, New Kit, QP Freebie

Tomorrow is Week 4 in the Fabulous 50's Weekly Wednesday Download at Scrapable. Here is the preview of what you get this week. You can click on the image to take you to the download area in the forum. I also have another new kit in the store today titled "Summer's End." This kit was inspired by the late summer flowers in my perennial garden like, Rudbeckia, Asters, Mums, and my personal favorite the Sunflower. Here's the preview.
I've also created a special offer that enables you to buy the kit and get the coordinating Lil' Thoughts for free.
I got a little carried away with the special offers and created 2 more that will be available through Sunday, July 26, 2009.I had a little time this afternoon so I played around with a photo of my favorite flower the Sunflower and created this layout using Summer's End.
I liked it so much, I turned it into a quick page for tonight's freebie.

WK3 Fab 50's, A Challenge, New Kit

Thank you for all your comments on the last set of freebies. It really does inspire me to offer more freebies when I feel they are appreciated so keep the love coming and I'll keep dishing out the wordart and other freebies.

Tomorrow is $1 Wednesday at Scrapable and I'll have several kits included in the sale so be sure to check that out. You will also find the 3rd Week of the Fabulous 50's download available in the forum. This is such a great kit and it's all free. I would love it if you would take a minute and stop by Laurinda's Blog and tell her how much you like the kit. Although she won't take it, she gets all the credit for coming up with the great theme and she designed all the elements, which are so realistic to the 50's theme that it really makes the kit pop. If you click on the image it will take you to the download area of the forum.

Here's a layout I created with an old photo I had of my niece all dressed up as a "Pink Lady" for a dance at school; isn't she cute! Love you, Lauren!


I also just added a new wordart pack to the store titled "Say Cheese." Sometimes, I find inspiration in the darndest things. I came across a picture the other day of my Beagle, Eli who is no longer with us. We had to have him put to sleep 5 years ago due to cancer. This faithful companion was the most loving and patient dog but what made him unique was his smile. A simple, "Say Cheese" and he would gladly give you the biggest, goofiest grin that you ever did see. So this wordart pack was inspired by Eli.

New WA Freebies!

Howdy! Beautiful day here in Michigan so I'm just stopping by for a moment to leave you with a few new wordart freebies. I guess I'm not feeling really chatty so I'll just leave you with the goodies. Part 2 Fab 50's & New Kits

Tomorrow starts Week 2 of the Fabulous 50's collaboration kit that is available for free at Scrapable. I promised to stop by and remind you so here is the preview to this weeks download. Click on the image to take you to the forum at Scrapable for your download link.I also just added four (4) new wordart packs to the the store and I'm offering them all for $1 tomorrow only as part of our $1 Wednesday's at Scrapable.

This first set was part of our Friday Freebie several weeks ago but now that it's no longer available, I've re-tooled them and added it to several new designs to bring your "Summer Lovin'." It comes in both a plain and a decorated version designed in bright, summer colors. I also put together another set of "Lil' Thoughts" with the focus on summer. These were designed as colored cardboard stickers. And what would summer be with baseball? I've had several requests for a baseball themed wordart pack so I give you "Batter Up."
